The invention claimed is: 1. A method for displaying an item, the method comprising: providing an assembly comprising a first panel, a second panel, and a third panel, the first panel and the second panel each having an aperture, wherein at least a first portion of the second panel comprises an elastic material; inserting at least a portion of the item through the aperture of the second panel; stretching the second panel to change a size of the aperture and allowing the aperture of the second panel to conform to dimensions of the portion of the item inserted through the aperture of the second panel; inserting at least a portion of a retention mechanism through the aperture of the first panel; and suspending the first panel from the retention mechanism such that the first panel extends at a first angle relative to the second panel, and such that the second panel extends at a second angle relative to the third panel. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein allowing the aperture of the second panel to conform to dimensions of the portion of the item inserted through the aperture of the second panel comprises heating at least a portion of the second panel. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the assembly further comprises a fourth panel having an aperture, and wherein the method further comprises inserting at least a second portion of the item through the aperture of the fourth panel. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first panel is integrally formed with the third panel along a hinge line, and wherein the method further comprises opening the first panel relative to the third panel prior to inserting the portion of the retention mechanism through the aperture of the first panel. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the assembly further comprises a fourth panel having an aperture, and wherein the method further comprises inserting the portion of the item through the aperture of the fourth panel. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising bonding a portion of the third panel to the item. 7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising removing a release liner from the third panel prior to bonding the portion of the third panel to the item. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the item is a bottle, wherein inserting at least a portion of the item through the aperture of the second panel comprises inserting a cap and neck of the bottle through the aperture of the second panel. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein providing an assembly comprises separating the assembly from a sheet of multiple assemblies. 10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising adhering a second item to the assembly. 11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the third panel has an aperture, the method comprising inserting at least a portion of the retention mechanism through the aperture of the third panel. 12. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: contacting the third panel to the first panel; and retaining the third and first panels in mutual contact. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein retaining the third and first panels in mutual contact comprises adhering at least portions of the third and first panels together. 14. A method for displaying an item, the method comprising: providing an assembly comprising a first panel, a second panel, and a third panel having a carrier attached thereto, the first panel and the second panel each having an aperture; inserting at least a portion of the item through the aperture of the second panel; allowing the aperture of the second panel to conform to dimensions of the portion of the item inserted through the aperture of the second panel; inserting at least a portion of a retention mechanism through the aperture of the first panel; suspending the first panel from the retention mechanism such that the first panel extends at a first angle relative to the second panel, and such that the second panel extends at a second angle relative to the third panel; and folding the carrier along at least one crease line. 15. The method of claim 14 , further comprising adhering a portion of the carrier to a portion of the third panel. 16. The method of claim 14 , wherein folding the carrier forms a flap, the method further comprising retaining a second item in the flap. 17. The method of claim 1 , wherein the assembly further comprises a carrier attached to the third panel, the carrier comprising a first slit, the method further comprising inserting at least a portion of a second item through the first slit. 18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the carrier further comprises a second slit, a flap being defined between the first and second slits, the method further comprising inserting at least a portion of the second item through the second slit so that: the flap is disposed on a first side of the second item; and a portion of the carrier is disposed on a second, opposing side of the second item. 19. A method for displaying an item, the method comprising: providing an assembly comprising a first panel, a second panel, and a third panel, the first panel and the second panel each having an aperture; inserting at least a portion of the item through the aperture of the second panel; allowing the aperture of the second panel to conform to dimensions of the portion of the item inserted through the aperture of the second panel, wherein allowing the aperture of the second panel to conform to dimensions of the portion of the item comprises shrinking the aperture of the second panel; inserting at least a portion of a retention mechanism through the aperture of the first panel; and suspending the first panel from the retention mechanism such that the first panel extends at a first angle relative to the second panel, and such that the second panel extends at a second angle relative to the third panel.
