The present disclosure provides methods of using protein kinase inhibitors for treating diseases and conditions, including diseases and conditions associated with activity of any protein kinase selected from Fms protein kinase including any mutations thereof, Kit protein kinase any mutations thereof, Flt-3 protein kinase any mutations thereof and combinations thereof.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of treating a c-fms or c-kit mediated disease or condition in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a compound of formula: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein said disease or condition is neurofibromatosis-1 (NF1), cutaneous neurofibromas or plexiform neurofibromas. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the disease or condition is neurofibromatosis-1. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the disease or condition is cutaneous neurofibromas. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the disease or condition is plexiform neurofibromas. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound is administered orally. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the compound is administered in the form of a tablet. 7. The method of claim 5 , wherein the compound is administered in the form of a capsule. 8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising administering a Mek inhibitor to the subject, wherein the Mek inhibitor is administered simultaneously or sequentially with the compound. 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the Mek inhibitor is administered simultaneously with the compound. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the Mek inhibitor is administered sequentially with the compound. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein the Mek inhibitor is selumetinib. 12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound is administered at a dose ranging from about 0.01 to 50 mg/kg of the subject being treated. 13. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound is administered at a dose ranging from about 0.1 mg/kg to 20 mg/kg of the subject being treated.
