The invention claimed is: 1. A smoking article, comprising: a control body portion having a control body engagement end, the control body portion having a first control component therein, and including an electrical power source configured to be controlled by the first control component; and a cartridge body portion including a cartridge body engagement end configured to removably engage the control body engagement end, the cartridge body portion further including a consumable arrangement comprising at least an aerosol precursor composition and at least one heating element operably engaged therewith, and a second control component, the consumable arrangement being configured to be in communication with the first control component upon engagement between the cartridge body and control body portions, and the second control component being configured to communicate with at least one of the first control component or the electrical power source upon engagement between the cartridge body and control body portions, wherein the second control component is configured to automatically provide an authentication indicia to the first control component upon engagement between the cartridge body and control body portions, and the first control component being configured to evaluate the authentication indicia to determine whether the cartridge body portion is authorized for use with the control body portion, and in at least one instance authorize the cartridge body portion for use with the control body portion, wherein the cartridge body portion includes a memory device in communication with the second control component, the memory device storing a unique identifying indicia associated with the cartridge body portion and associated with a different identifying indicia for the control body portion, the unique identifying indicia being receivable by the first control component from the memory device, the different identifying indicia being associated with a specified user, and the unique identifying indicia being convertible to a reward to the specified user using the control body portion and the cartridge body portion, wherein the authentication indicia indicates a manufacturer of the cartridge body portion, and the first control component being configured to evaluate the authentication indicia includes being configured to determine whether the manufacturer is the same as or authorized by a manufacturer of the control body portion, and the cartridge body portion is thereby authorized for use with the control body portion. 2. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the electrical power source is selected from the group consisting of a battery, a capacitor, and combinations thereof. 3. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the first control component is configured to selectively actuate current flow from the electrical power source to the at least one heating element upon engagement between the cartridge body and control body portions, the at least one heating element having current flow applied thereto being configured to heat the aerosol precursor composition to form an aerosol. 4. A smoking article according to claim 3 , wherein the first control component comprises at least one of a puff-actuated sensor, a pushbutton, or a capacitive sensor for selectively actuating the current flow. 5. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the first control component is configured to be responsive to the received authentication indicia authorizing the cartridge body portion for use with the control body portion to allow current flow from the electrical power source to the at least one heating element, and to be responsive to one of an absent authentication indicia or an unauthorized authentication indicia to disallow current flow from the electrical power source to the at least one heating element. 6. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the second control component is configured to determine a remaining amount of the aerosol precursor composition and to store the determined remaining amount in the memory device. 7. A smoking article according to claim 6 , wherein the first control component is configured to be responsive to a threshold level of the determined remaining amount of the aerosol precursor composition to actuate a low remaining amount indicia. 8. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the memory device is configured to include a composition indicia associated with the aerosol precursor composition and corresponding to heating parameters required to transform the aerosol precursor composition into an aerosol. 9. A smoking article according to claim 8 , wherein the first control component is configured to be responsive to the composition indicia to selectively actuate current flow from an electrical power source housed by the control body portion, the current flow being directed to the at least one heating element housed by the cartridge body portion, and the at least one heating element being responsive to the current flow to provide the required heating parameters for heating the aerosol precursor composition to form the aerosol. 10. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the second control component is configured to monitor usage parameters associated with one of the aerosol precursor composition or the at least one heating element, and to store data associated with the usage parameters in the memory device. 11. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the cartridge body or control body portions further includes a communication device in communication with and configured to receive data from a corresponding one of the first or second control components, the communication device being configured to transmit the data externally to the cartridge body and control body portions. 12. A smoking article according to claim 1 , further comprising a regulator component in communication between the electrical power source and the at least one heating element, the regulator component being configured to selectively regulate current flow from the electrical power source to the at least one heating element in order to control a temperature thereof. 13. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the aerosol precursor composition comprises one of a polyhydric alcohol, a medicament, a tobacco component, a tobacco-derived material, a flavorant, or combinations thereof. 14. A smoking article according to claim 13 , wherein the polyhydric alcohol is selected from the group consisting of glycerin, propylene glycol, and combinations thereof. 15. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the aerosol precursor composition is included in a slurry with one of tobacco, a tobacco component, or a tobacco-derived material. 16. A smoking article according to claim 1 , wherein the aerosol precursor composition is one of coated on, adsorbed by, or absorbed in at least a portion of a substrate. 17. A method of forming a smoking article, comprising: removably engaging a control body engagement end of a control body portion with a cartridge body engagement end of a cartridge body portion, wherein the control body portion includes a first control component therein and an electrical power source configured to be controlled by the first control component, and the cartridge body portion includes a consumable arrangement comprising at least an aerosol precursor composition and at least one heating element operably engaged therewith, and a second control component, so as to establish communication between the consumable arrangement and the first control com
