A frame piece of a frame for a luminaire is disclosed. The frame piece can include an inner surface, a first frame coupling feature disposed at a first end of the frame piece, and a second frame coupling feature disposed at a second end of the frame piece. The first frame coupling feature can be configured to mechanically couple to the second frame coupling feature of a first adjacent frame piece. The second frame coupling feature can be configured to mechanically couple to the first frame coupling feature of a second adjacent frame piece. The inner surface forms a partial opening through which a light source component can traverse.

What is claimed is: 1. A frame piece of a frame for a luminaire, the frame piece comprising: a base; an inner surface along a portion of the base; at least one hanger bar coupling feature disposed on the base, wherein the at least one hanger bar coupling feature comprises a receiver that is configured to receive a hanger bar, wherein the hanger bar is used to mount the luminaire to a structure; a first frame coupling feature disposed at a first end of the base; and a second frame coupling feature disposed at a second end of the base, wherein the first frame coupling feature is configured to mechanically couple to the second frame coupling feature of a first adjacent frame piece, wherein the second frame coupling feature is configured to mechanically couple to the first frame coupling feature of a second adjacent frame piece, wherein the inner surface forms a partial opening through which a light source component can traverse. 2. The frame piece of claim 1 , wherein the base, the first frame coupling feature, and the second frame coupling feature are shaped from a single stamped piece. 3. The frame piece of claim 1 , wherein the first adjacent frame piece and the second adjacent frame piece are at opposite ends of a single adjacent frame piece. 4. The frame piece of claim 1 , wherein the first end of the base is opposite the second end of the base. 5. The frame piece of claim 1 , further comprising: at least one junction box coupling feature configured to mechanically couple to a complementary coupling feature disposed on a junction box of the luminaire. 6. The frame piece of claim 5 , wherein the base, the first frame coupling feature, the second frame coupling feature, the at least one hanger bar coupling feature, and the at least one junction box coupling feature are shaped from a single stamped piece. 7. The frame piece of claim 1 , further comprising: at least one light source component coupling feature configured to mechanically couple to a light source component of the luminaire. 8. The frame piece of claim 7 , wherein the light source component comprises at least one of a group consisting of a light source, a power source, a light source component frame, and a lens. 9. The frame piece of claim 1 , further comprising: at least one light source component coupling feature configured to mechanically couple to the light source component of the luminaire. 10. A luminaire, comprising: a frame comprising a plurality of frame pieces, wherein each frame piece of the plurality of frame pieces comprises an inner surface, at least one hanger bar coupling feature, a first frame coupling feature, and a second frame coupling feature, wherein the first frame coupling feature of a frame piece mechanically couples to the second frame coupling feature of a first adjacent frame piece, and wherein the second frame coupling feature of the frame piece mechanically couples to the first frame coupling feature of a second adjacent frame piece, wherein the frame has a cavity disposed therethrough, wherein the cavity is formed by the inner surface of the plurality of frame pieces, wherein the cavity receives a light source component of the luminaire, and wherein the at least one hanger bar coupling feature comprises a first receiver that is configured to receive a first hanger bar, wherein the first hanger bar is used to mount the luminaire to a structure. 11. The luminaire of claim 10 , further comprising: a junction box, wherein the frame further comprises a first junction box coupling feature, wherein the first junction box coupling feature mechanically couples to a corresponding first coupling feature of the junction box. 12. The luminaire of claim 11 , wherein the frame further comprises a second junction box coupling feature that mechanically couples to a corresponding second coupling feature of the junction box. 13. The luminaire of claim 11 , wherein the first frame coupling feature is disposed on each of the plurality of frame pieces. 14. The luminaire of claim 10 , wherein each frame piece of the plurality of frame pieces is substantially the same as a remainder of the plurality of frame pieces. 15. The luminaire of claim 10 , further comprising: a mounting feature, wherein the frame further comprises at least one mounting coupling feature, wherein the at least one mounting coupling feature is disposed on at least one of the plurality of frame pieces. 16. The luminaire of claim 10 , wherein each of the plurality of frame pieces comprises a light source component coupling feature that mechanically couples to the light source component. 17. The luminaire of claim 10 , wherein the first adjacent frame piece is configured substantially the same as the second adjacent frame piece. 18. The luminaire of claim 10 , wherein the at least one hanger bar coupling feature further comprises a second receiver that is configured to receive a second hanger bar, wherein the first receiver is disposed on the first adjacent frame piece, and wherein the second receiver is disposed on the second adjacent frame piece. 19. The luminaire of claim 10 , wherein the frame is adjustable along the length of the first hanger bar. 20. A frame for a luminaire, the frame comprising: a plurality of frame pieces, wherein each of the plurality of frame pieces comprises an inner surface, at least one hanger bar coupling feature, a first frame coupling feature, and a second frame coupling feature, wherein the first frame coupling feature of a frame piece mechanically couples to the second frame coupling feature of an adjacent frame piece, and wherein the second frame coupling feature of the frame piece mechanically couples to the first frame coupling feature of the adjacent frame piece, wherein the frame has a cavity disposed therethrough, wherein the cavity is formed by the inner surface of the plurality of frame pieces, wherein the cavity is configured to receive a light source component of the luminaire, wherein the at least one hanger bar coupling feature comprises a receiver that is configured to receive a hanger bar, wherein the hanger bar is used to mount the luminaire to a structure.
