Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for enabling mobile device-based item acquisition and tracking. One exemplary method performed on a mobile device comprises entering a wireless scan mode, detecting a signal from a tag associated with an item in a first area and in proximity to the tag, presenting information associated with the tag, and adding the information to a list. The method further comprises detecting a second tag in a second area, and sending the list to a second device. A second exemplary method performed by a processing terminal comprises receiving the list from a mobile device, entering a wireless scan mode, detecting a signal from a tag associated with an item in proximity to the tag, determining whether the item associated with the detected tag is present on the received list, and enabling the mobile device to complete a transaction to purchase the item. User interfaces are also provided for presenting information related to the above methods and receiving inputs from users to accomplish one or more related methods.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for initiating contactless acquisition of offered items using a processing terminal, comprising: receiving a first list of interest items directly from a mobile device; determining a sale price for a first selected one of the interest items; entering a wireless scan mode on the processing terminal; detecting, with the processing terminal using the scan mode, signals from tags associated with offered items in proximity to the tags; creating a second list comprising offered items associated with the detected signals; determining whether the first selected interest item is present on the second list and whether any of the second list items are present on the first list; presenting the result of the determination to the mobile device; prompting, based on the result determination, approval from the mobile device, whereby: when none of the second list items are present on the first list, the mobile device is prompted to approve the addition of the second list items to the first list, or when the first selected interest item is not present on the second list, the mobile device is prompted to approve the removal of the first selected interest item from the first list; and based on the approval, enabling the mobile device to complete a transaction to purchase the interest items. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising, when a second selected interest item is not present on the second list: prompting approval from the mobile device to complete a second transaction to purchase the second selected interest item; and arranging for delivery of the second selected interest item to a user associated with the mobile device. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein arranging for delivery comprises shipping the second selected interest item on to a particular address, or moving the second selected interest item to a designated area for pickup. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the entering the scan mode comprises entering a scan mode detecting tags emitting a Wi-Fi signal. 5. A processing terminal, comprising: memory storing software instructions; a wireless communication device configured to communicate with tags; and at least one processor configured to execute the software instructions to perform a method comprising the operations of: receiving a first list of interest items directly from a mobile device; determining a sale price for a first selected one of the interest items; entering a wireless scan mode; detecting, with the wireless communication device using the scan mode, signals from tags associated with offered items in proximity to the tags; creating a second list comprising offered items associated with the detected signals; comparing the first and second list to determine whether the first selected interest list item is present on the second list or and whether any of the second list item is items are present on the received first list; presenting the result of the determination to the mobile device; prompting, based on the result of the determination, approval from the mobile device, whereby: when none of the second list items are present on the first list, the mobile device is prompted to approve the addition of the second list items to the first list, or when the first selected interest item is not present on the second list, the mobile device is prompted to approve the removal of the first selected interest item from the first list; and based on the approval, enabling the mobile device to complete a transaction to purchase interest items. 6. The processing terminal of claim 5 , wherein the operations further comprise, when a second selected interest item is not present on the second list: prompting approval from the mobile device to complete a second transaction to purchase the second selected interest item; and arranging for delivery of the second selected interest item to a user associated with the mobile device. 7. The processing terminal of claim 6 , wherein arranging for delivery comprises shipping the second selected interest item to a particular address, or moving the second selected interest item to a designated area for pickup.
