Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A machining system with a configuration in which working machines, including a machine tool, are configured to be disposed in a line, and in which multiple working machines perform operations on one work in order, is provided. The machining system includes: a base; and multiple working machine modules which are mounted on the base and are arranged in an arrangement direction, and has a configuration in which each of the multiple working machine modules is capable of being drawn out from the base along a track extending in an intersecting direction intersecting with the arrangement direction.

The invention claimed is: 1. A machining system comprising: a base; and multiple working machine modules which are mounted on the base and arranged along an arrangement axis, wherein the multiple working machine modules include one or more machine tool modules, and each of the multiple working machine modules is capable of being drawn out from the base along a track extending along an intersecting axis that intersects with the arrangement axis, wherein each of the multiple working machine modules includes a movable bed on which a working machine body is fixed, the movable bed including a pair of wheels provided at an interval along the arrangement axis, wherein the base includes the track, which is comprised of multiple rail pairs laid at an interval along the arrangement axis and extending along the intersecting axis, wherein each of the pair of wheels provided in each of the multiple working machine modules cooperates with one of the pair of rails of any one of the multiple rail pairs, such that each of the plurality of working machine modules is capable of being drawn out from the base along the track, wherein a module fixing mechanism that fixes each working machine module at a fixing position set along the intersecting axis is provided for each of the multiple working machine modules, the module fixing mechanism including: a slot formed in the bed, a locking rod including a rod head with a shape of an inverted circular truncated cone at a top portion thereof, and a rod lifting and lowering device that lifts and lowers the locking rod in order to switch between a locked state in which the locking rod is engaged with the slot and an unlocked state in which the locking rod is not engaged with the slot, wherein the slot includes a recess including a tapered surface which matches a tapered surface of the rod head, and wherein in the locked state, the locking rod is lowered by the rod lifting and lowering device such that the tapered surface of the rod head abuts the tapered surface of the recess. 2. The machining system according to claim 1 , wherein the multiple working machine modules are arranged on the base closely adjacent to each other along the arrangement axis. 3. The machining system according to claim 1 , wherein each of the multiple working machine modules is capable of being movable along the intersecting axis so as to be drawn out along the intersecting axis. 4. The machining system according to claim 1 , wherein a module driving mechanism that drives each working machine module along the intersecting axis is provided for each of the multiple working machine modules. 5. The machining system according to claim 1 , wherein each of the multiple working machine modules is capable of being drawn out so as to be detachable from the base. 6. The machining system according to claim 5 , wherein the machining system includes a transfer cart that, when any one of the multiple working machine modules is detached from the base, is fixed beside the base such that the track extends so as to be used to transfer the working machine module detached from the base. 7. The machining system according to claim 6 , wherein the transfer cart includes a module moving device that moves the working machine module that is detached from the base to the transfer cart along the track in order to transfer the working machine module that is detached from the base. 8. The machining system according to claim 1 , wherein multiple arrangement regions having the same widths along the arrangement axis are set on the base, and wherein each of the multiple working machine modules does not protrude into an adjacent to one of the multiple arrangement regions occupied by one of the other multiple working machine modules. 9. The machining system according to claim 8 , wherein one of the multiple working machine modules occupies one of the multiple arrangement regions and another one of the multiple working machine modules occupies two or more regions of the multiple arrangement regions. 10. The machining system according to claim 8 , wherein at least one of the two working machine modules arranged at both ends of the multiple working machine modules is arranged to protrude from one end of one of the multiple arrangement regions at which the modules are arranged. 11. The machining system according to claim 8 , wherein the multiple working machine modules include a multi-region occupying module which occupies two or more of the multiple arrangement regions, and wherein one of the pair of wheels provided in the multi-region occupying module cooperates with one of the pair of rails which configure one rail pair disposed corresponding to the two or more of the multiple arrangement regions, and the other one of the pair of wheels cooperates with one of the pair of rails which configure one rail pair disposed corresponding to another of the two or more of the plurality of arrangement regions, such that the multi-region occupying module is capable of being drawn out from the base along the track. 12. The machining system according to claim 1 , wherein a first direction along the intersecting axis is defined to be frontward and a second direction along the intersecting axis is defined to be rearward, and one of the multiple working machine modules has an operating space on a frontward side, in which an operation is performed on a work, wherein the base is configured to receive shavings produced in the operating space of one of the multiple working machine modules into an inside thereof, and wherein the machining system includes a shavings discharge device that discharges the shavings received by the base from a side surface of the base on a rearward side. 13. The machining system according to claim 1 , further comprising a work transporting device which transports a work and is provided on a side surface of the base, the work transporting device including a movable base which moves along the intersecting axis on guide rails provided on the side surface of the base, a work bed on which the work is mounted, and work bed lifting and lowering device which lifts and lowers the work bed.
