Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A meeting summarization method, system, and computer program product, include recording meeting audio of a meeting, capturing notes including a time stamp from each of a plurality of users associated with the meeting, synchronizing the recorded meeting audio of the meeting and each of the notes of each of the plurality of users based on a correlation between the time stamp, and analyzing the synchronized meeting audio and notes to determine highlights of the meeting based on a co-occurrence of notes between the plurality of users.

What is claimed is: 1. A computer-implemented meeting summarization method, the method comprising: recording meeting audio of a meeting; capturing notes including a time stamp from a user associated with the meeting; synchronizing the recorded meeting audio of the meeting and each of the notes of the user based on a correlation between the time stamp of the recorded meeting audio and the notes of the user; and analyzing the synchronized meeting audio and notes to determine highlights of the meeting based on a co-occurrence of the time stamp of the notes of the user and the recorded meeting audio, wherein the analyzing further analyzes a concept of the co-occurring notes to determine the highlights only if the concept of each of the co-occurrence of the recorded meeting audio and the notes have an overlap with each other greater than a predetermined threshold value. 2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising creating a summary of the highlights of the meeting by aggregating the co-occurring notes for each of the plurality of users. 3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the highlights are determined according only to a match of the time stamp of the co-occurrence of notes. 4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising aligning each of the highlights of the meeting with a topic of a meeting agenda. 5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying a concept associated with each of the highlights from processing the recorded audio to create a summary of the meeting based on concepts. 6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the co-occurrence is determined based on at least two of the plurality of users taking notes at a same time stamp. 7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , embodied in a cloud-computing environment. 8. A computer program product for meeting summarization, the computer program product comprising a computer-readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a computer to cause the computer to perform: recording meeting audio of a meeting; capturing notes including a time stamp from a user associated with the meeting; synchronizing the recorded meeting audio of the meeting and each of the notes of the user based on a correlation between the time stamp of the recorded meeting audio and the notes of the user; and analyzing the synchronized meeting audio and notes to determine highlights of the meeting based on a co-occurrence of the time stamp of the notes of the user and the recorded meeting audio, wherein the analyzing further analyzes a concept of the co-occurring notes to determine the highlights only if the concept of each of the co-occurrence of the recorded meeting audio and the notes have an overlap with each other greater than a predetermined threshold value. 9. The computer program product of claim 8 , further comprising creating a summary of the highlights of the meeting by aggregating the co-occurring notes for each of the plurality of users. 10. The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the highlights are determined according only to a match of the time stamp of the co-occurrence of notes. 11. The computer program product of claim 8 , further comprising aligning each of the highlights of the meeting with a topic of a meeting agenda. 12. The computer program product of claim 8 , further comprising identifying a concept associated with each of the highlights from processing the recorded audio to create a summary of the meeting based on concepts. 13. The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the co-occurrence is determined based on at least two of the plurality of users taking notes at a same time stamp. 14. A meeting summarization system, comprising: a processor; and a memory, the memory storing instructions to cause the processor to perform: recording meeting audio of a meeting; capturing notes including a time stamp from a user associated with the meeting; synchronizing the recorded meeting audio of the meeting and each of the notes of the user based on a correlation between the time stamp of the recorded meeting audio and the notes of the user; and analyzing the synchronized meeting audio and notes to determine highlights of the meeting based on a co-occurrence of the time stamp of the notes of the user and the recorded meeting audio, wherein the analyzing further analyzes a concept of the co-occurring notes to determine the highlights only if the concept of each of the co-occurrence of the recorded meeting audio and the notes have an overlap with each other greater than a predetermined threshold value. 15. The system of claim 14 , wherein the memory further stores instructions to create a summary of the highlights of the meeting by aggregating the co-occurring notes for each of the plurality of users. 16. The system of claim 14 , wherein the highlights are determined according only to a match of the time stamp of the co-occurrence of notes. 17. The system of claim 16 , embodied in a cloud-computing environment. 18. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the concept includes a subject matter of the recorded meeting audio. 19. The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the concept includes a subject matter of the recorded meeting audio. 20. The system of claim 14 , wherein the concept includes a subject matter of the recorded meeting audio.
