Abstract

A personal care article includes a first personal care composition in a first zone and a second personal care composition in a second zone such that the first and second zones are defined by one or more barriers.

First claim

What is claimed is:

1. A conformable personal care article, comprising:
a) a first personal care composition in a first zone;
b) a second personal care composition in a second zone, wherein each of the zones is defined by one or more barriers;
c) a first water penetrable substrate adjacent to the first and second personal care compositions; and
d) a pump;

wherein the total personal care composition is greater than about 3,500 wt. %, by weight of total substrate and the conformable personal care article has a conformance value of about 10 or more in at least one direction as measured by a cantilever compliance test.

2. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the first and second personal care compositions are configured to be released at each zone.

3. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the first personal care composition is the same as the second personal care composition.

4. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the personal care article comprises a top side and a bottom side, wherein the first zone can be located at one of either the top side or the bottom side and the second zone can be located at the remaining side.

5. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the personal care article comprises a right side and a left side, wherein the first zone can be located at one of either the right side or the left side and the second zone can be located at the remaining side.

6. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the first and second personal care compositions are in the shape of rods.

7. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the pump comprises a woven, batting, a formed film, a sponge, a scrim, or a combination thereof.

8. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the first water penetrable substrate at least partially surrounds each of the first and second personal care compositions.

9. The personal care article of claim 1 , further comprising a second water penetrable substrate adjacent to and in contact with the first water penetrable substrate.

10. The personal care article of claim 9 , wherein the second water penetrable substrate at least partially surrounds the first water penetrable substrate.

11. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the article has a consumption rate of about 1.5 g/use to about 15 g/use.

12. The personal care article of claim 1 , wherein the total personal care composition is greater than about 4,000 wt. %, by weight of the total substrate.

13. A conformable personal care article, comprising:
a) about 4,000 wt. % or more, by weight of a total substrate, of a total personal care composition, wherein a first personal care composition is in a first zone, wherein a second personal care composition is in a second zone, wherein each of the zones is defined by one or more barriers, wherein the first and second personal care compositions are configured to be released at each zone; and
b) a first substrate surrounding the first personal care composition;
c) a second substrate surrounding the second personal care composition; and
d) a pump located between the first and second zones;
wherein the conformable personal care article has a conformance value of about 10 or more in at least one direction as measured by a cantilever compliance test.

14. The personal care article of claim 13 , wherein the article has a consumption rate of about 0.05 g/use to about 20 g/use.

15. The personal care article of claim 13 , wherein the pump comprises a woven, batting, a formed film, a sponge, a scrim, or a combination thereof.

16. The personal care article of claim 13 , wherein the pump comprises a scrim.
