Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A connecting system for providing a fluidic connection, preferably between containers, wherein the connecting system has at least two connecting arrangements configured to provide the fluidic connection, namely a first connecting arrangement and a second connecting arrangement, each of which is fluidically sealed in an initial state, wherein the first connecting arrangement has, in particular, a film-shaped, brittle and/or unstable opening region, is deformable outside the opening region and is configured such that deformation causes the first connecting arrangement to open in the opening region.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1. A container system, comprising: at least two containers, and a container system wherein each of the containers each has a connecting arrangement of the container system for producing a fluidic connection between the containers, a first of said connecting arrangements being on a first of the containers and a second of said connecting arrangements being on a second of the containers, both of said connecting arrangements being fluidically sealed in an initial state, wherein the first of connecting arrangements has an opening region, is deformable outside of the opening region and is configured for causing deformation of the first connecting arrangement outside of the opening region to produce opening of the opening region, wherein the first of said connecting arrangements comprises a tubular portion which adjoins or surrounds the opening region, and wherein the tubular portion is deformable such that deformation thereof enables the opening region to be opened, and wherein the second of said connecting arrangements is configured to deform the tubular portion of the first of said at least two connecting arrangements, so that deformation thereof causes the opening region of the first of said at least two connecting arrangements to open when said the first and second containers are brought into mating relationship with ends of the containers facing in opposite directions. 2. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the first and second of said two connecting arrangements are rotatable relative to one another for producing said deformation. 3. The container system according to claim 2 , wherein each of the first and second of said at least two connecting arrangements have a perimeter with a rotationally asymmetric shape, where rotationally asymmetric shape of the perimeter of the first and second of said at least two connecting arrangements correspond to one another so as produce the deformation said tubular portion when rotated relative to one another. 4. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the tubular portion is configured such that deformation thereof causes a tensioning of the opening region extending at least substantially radially or at a right angle to a central axis of the tubular portion so as to tear, brake or detach the opening region to open the opening. 5. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the second of said at least two connecting arrangements comprises at least one of a film-shaped, brittle and unstable opening region, wherein the first of said at least two connecting arrangements is configured to open the second of said at least two connecting arrangements. 6. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the fluidic connection is producible by mutual opening of the first and second of said at least two connecting arrangements. 7. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the tubular portion is at least one of web-shaped, neck-shaped, wall-shaped, thin-walled, elastic and flexible. 8. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the tubular portion is more elastic, flexible or stable than the opening region so that, as the tubular portion is deformed, the opening region is opened by tearing, breaking or detachment. 9. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the tubular portion is rotationally asymmetric in transverse cross section. 10. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein the second of said at least two connecting arrangements has a rotationally asymmetric transverse cross section corresponding to a rotationally asymmetric transverse cross section of the tubular portion of the first of said at least two connecting arrangements, so that rotation of the connecting arrangements relative to one another is adapted to produce the deformation. 11. The container system according to claim 1 , wherein both of the first and second of said connecting arrangements have tubular portions of a shape which enables the first and second of said connecting arrangements to be positioned for producing said deformation of the first tubular portion rotation due to rotation of the tubular portions relative to one another. 12. The container system according to claim 1 , further comprising a cap-shaped cover removably mounted to the first container so as to form a temporary end of the first container and covering the first of said connecting arrangements when mounted to the first container, said cover having a supporting configuration which forms a support for an end of one of the containers when the cover is removed from the first container and placed on a surface in an inverted orientation with said supporting configuration facing upward.
