A display apparatus, including a display configured to display a multi-window screen image comprising a plurality of windows; and a controller configured to control the display to change an appearance of at least one window of the plurality of windows based on a setting provided by a user, and to display the at least one window using the changed appearance.

What is claimed is: 1. A display apparatus comprising: a display; and a controller configured to: provide a multi-window screen image comprising a plurality of windows; display a plurality of contents through the plurality of windows, the plurality of contents comprising a first content displayed through a first window of the plurality of windows; and in response to the first window stopping the first content and beginning to display a second content corresponding to a user viewing reservation, while the plurality of contents are being displayed through the plurality of windows, control the display to change a location of the first window, and to change a size of the first window, based on user setting information, to provide the changed first window along with the plurality of windows, and to display the second content through the changed first window. 2. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to provide a visual effect to the first window. 3. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to determine an identity of the user and change the first window based on a user setting corresponding to the determined identity. 4. A display method comprising: displaying a multi-window screen image including a plurality of windows; displaying a plurality of contents through the plurality of windows, the plurality of contents including a first content displayed through a first window of the plurality of windows; and in response to the first window stopping the first content and beginning to display a second content corresponding to a user viewing reservation, while the plurality of contents are being displayed through the plurality of windows, changing a location of the first window, and changing a size of the first window, based on user setting information, and providing the changed first window along with the plurality of windows, and displaying the second content through the changed first window. 5. The display method of claim 4 , further comprising providing a visual effect to the first window.
