Disclosed is an organic light emitting diode display including an organic light emitting display panel configured to display an image, and a lower passivation film attached to a bottom of the organic light emitting diode display panel. The lower passivation film includes a support film that is in contact with the organic light emitting diode display panel, and a stress adjustment layer formed beneath the support film and configured to reduce a bending stress to be induced in the organic light emitting display panel when the organic light emitting display panel and the lower passivation film are bent.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1. An organic light emitting diode display comprising: an organic light emitting display panel including a flat portion and a bent portion, and a lower film attached on the organic light emitting display panel, wherein the lower film includes a space at least positioned corresponding to the bent portion and configured to reduce a bending stress to be induced in the organic light emitting display panel when the organic light emitting display panel and the lower film are bent. 2. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 1 , wherein the space is eliminated in at least a part of the lower film. 3. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 1 , wherein an interval between upper ends of the space is different from an interval between lower ends of the space. 4. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 3 , wherein the stress adjustment portion includes a plurality of stress adjustment patterns disposed around the space and adjacent to each other. 5. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 1 , wherein an interval between opposing ends of the space that are closer to the organic light emitting display panel is smaller than an interval between opposing ends of the space that are farther from the organic light emitting display panel. 6. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 1 , wherein a cross sectional area of the space increases gradually from one side adjacent the organic light emitting display panel to an outside of the lower film, and wherein the cross sectional area of the space is taken from a cross section cut along a perpendicular direction to the lower film. 7. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 1 , wherein the lower film includes a stress adjustment portion including the space. 8. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 1 , wherein the bent portion is positioned at an end of the flat portion. 9. An organic light emitting diode display comprising: an organic light emitting display panel including a flat portion and a bent portion, and a film attached on a side of the organic light emitting display panel, wherein the film has eliminated regions in at least a portion corresponding to the bent portion. 10. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 9 , wherein the eliminated regions have differing widths. 11. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 10 , wherein an interval between opposing ends of an eliminated shape of the film positioned adjacent the organic light emitting display panel is narrower than an interval between opposing ends of the eliminated shape of the film positioned remote from the organic light emitting display panel. 12. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 9 , wherein a cross sectional area of an eliminated shape of the film increases gradually from one side adjacent the organic light emitting display panel to an outside of the film, and wherein the cross sectional area is taken from a cross section cut along a perpendicular direction to the film. 13. The organic light emitting diode display of claim 9 , wherein the bent portion is positioned at an end of the flat portion. 14. A display device comprising: a display panel including a flat portion and a bent portion, and a lower film attached to the display panel and including a space positioned corresponding to at least the bent portion and configured to reduce a bending stress to be induced in the organic light emitting display panel when the organic light emitting display panel and the lower film are bent. 15. The display device of claim 14 , wherein the space is a cutout in the lower film. 16. The display device of claim 14 , wherein the space is cut out from at least a portion of the lower film corresponding to the bent portion. 17. A display device comprising: a display panel including a flat portion and a bent portion, and a film attached on a side of the display panel, wherein the film has a shape which is eliminated in at least a portion corresponding to the bent portion.
