The present disclosure relates to a bicyclic compound, a pharmaceutical composition thereof, and its novel use. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to the bicyclic compound according to Formula I or Formula II, the pharmaceutical composition for treating a stroke, and the use of the bicyclic compound treating the stroke.

What is claimed is: 1. A bicyclic compound represented by: wherein —R 1 is —OH, —OCH 2 CH 3 , a substituent represented by Formula (i), a substituent represented by Formula (ii), a substituent represented by Formula (iii) or a substituent represented by Formula (iv); wherein in Formula (ii), R 3 is —NH 2 , —NH 3 + Cl − or a substituent represented by Formula (vi): wherein R 2 is a substituent represented by Formula (vii): wherein R 4 is a substituent represented by Formula (viii), a substituent represented by Formula (ix) or a substituent represented by Formula (x): wherein in Formula (viii), R 5 is —NH 2 , —NH 3 + Cl − or the substituent represented by Formula (vi); and in Formula (x), R 6 is —H 2 + Cl − or the substituent represented by Formula (vi). 2.
