Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

An emitter that is arranged on an inner wall surface of a tube through which an irrigation liquid flows, the emitter being arranged at a position that corresponds to a discharge opening that communicates between the inside and outside of the tube. The emitter is for quantitatively discharging from the discharge opening the irrigation liquid inside the tube and has: a water intake part that is for taking in the irrigation liquid; a discharge part that is for discharging the irrigation liquid; and a flow path that connects the water intake part and the discharge part and through which the irrigation liquid flows. Further, an inner wall surface of the flow path is constituted by a composition that includes an antimicrobial agent and includes a resin or rubber.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. An emitter to be attached to a tube configured to distribute irrigation liquid at a position corresponding to a discharge port communicating between an inside and outside of the tube by joining the emitter to the inner wall surface of the tube, the emitter being configured to discharge the irrigation liquid in a tube through the discharge port, the emitter comprising: an intake part for receiving the irrigation liquid; a discharge part for discharging the irrigation liquid; a channel configured to connect the intake part and the discharge part and distribute the irrigation liquid; a liquid receiving amount regulating part for regulating a flow rate of the irrigation liquid received from the intake part in accordance with a pressure of the irrigation liquid in the intake part; a pressure reduction part for distributing the irrigation liquid supplied from the liquid receiving amount regulating part while reducing a pressure of the irrigation liquid; and a discharge rate regulating part for regulating a flow rate of the irrigation liquid supplied from the pressure reduction part in accordance with a pressure of the irrigation liquid in the tube, wherein: the discharge part is configured to face the discharge port and quantitatively discharge the irrigation liquid having a flow rate regulated by the discharge rate regulating part to the outside of the tube, and an entirety of the emitter is integrally formed with a composition including an antibacterial agent and a base resin or rubber. 2. An emitter to be attached to a tube configured to distribute irrigation liquid at a position corresponding to a discharge port communicating between an inside and outside of the tube by inserting the emitter from an external wall surface of the tube, the emitter being configured to discharge the irrigation liquid in a tube through the discharge port, the emitter comprising: an intake part for receiving the irrigation liquid; a discharge part for discharging the irrigation liquid; a channel configured to connect the intake part and the discharge part and distribute the irrigation liquid; a liquid receiving amount regulating part for regulating a flow rate of the irrigation liquid received from the intake part in accordance with a pressure of the irrigation liquid in the intake part; a pressure reduction part for distributing the irrigation liquid supplied from the liquid receiving amount regulating part while reducing a pressure of the irrigation liquid; and a discharge rate regulating part for regulating a flow rate of the irrigation liquid supplied from the pressure reduction part in accordance with a pressure of the irrigation liquid in the tube, wherein: the intake part is a cylindrical portion to be inserted to the discharge port in the tube from the outside of the tube, the discharge part is configured to quantitatively discharge the irrigation liquid having a flow rate regulated by the discharge rate regulating part to the outside of the tube, and an entirety of the emitter is integrally formed with a composition including an antibacterial agent and a base resin or rubber. 3. The emitter according to claim 1 , wherein the composition includes the base resin and the antibacterial agent. 4. A trickle irrigation tube comprising: a tube; and at least one emitter, the at least one emitter being the emitter according to claim 1 disposed on the tube. 5. The emitter according to claim 2 , wherein the composition includes the base resin and the antibacterial agent. 6. The emitter according to claim 1 , further comprising a film, wherein a part of the film functions as a diaphragm of the discharge rate regulating part, and wherein the entirety of the emitter including the film is integrally formed with the composition.
