A structure of a server rack and sidecar combination. The structure may include; a server rack having an opening and a server door on a front side of the server rack; a sidecar mounted to a side of the server rack, the sidecar has an access area on a front side of the sidecar, wherein the server rack opening and the access area are accessible form a common side; an adapter mounted to the accessible common side, wherein the adapter does not restrict access to the server rack opening and the access area, the adapter has at least three vertical sides; and a cable management bar located within the at least three vertical sides.

What is claimed is: 1. A sidecar structure for attachment to a server rack comprising: a sidecar having one or more access areas, wherein the sidecar has a means of connecting to a side of the server rack, the server rack having one or more server openings, wherein the means of connecting the sidecar to the server rack does not restrict access to the one or more access areas and the one or more server openings from a common side; and an adapter with a means of connecting to the server rack and sidecar, the adapter has at least three vertical surfaces, wherein the three vertical surfaces include a connecting surface, a server door surface, and a secondary surface, the connecting surface has a height and width substantially equal to the height of the server rack and sidecar and a combined width of the server rack and sidecar, the server door surface has a height and width substantially equal to the height and width of a server door, and the secondary surface has a height and width substantially equal to the height and width of a secondary door. 2. The structure of claim 1 , wherein the access areas have mounting holes for system installment. 3. The structure of claim 1 , wherein the sidecar has a height substantially equal to the height of the server rack. 4. The structure of claim 1 , wherein the sidecar has a depth substantially equal to the depth of the server rack. 5. The structure of claim 1 , further comprising: a cable management bar located within the at least three vertical surfaces of the adaptor, wherein the cable management bar is enclosed by the server door and the secondary door in a closed position, and the cable management bar is accessible when the server door and the secondary door are in an open position.
