A seat for a motor vehicle includes a cap in the seat back for covering an ISOFIX bar. The cap includes a cap body and a grip portion. The grip portion includes a scoop portion in the cap body for receiving a hand and an indented portion longitudinally forward of the scoop. A second seat for a motor vehicle includes a frame and an inner cover on the frame. The inner cover being generally L-shaped and located on a laterally inward side of the frame. The inner cover includes a smooth lower external surface and a smooth and recessed external upper surface.

What is claimed is: 1. A seat for a motor vehicle, comprising: a frame; a seat cushion on top of the frame, the seat cushion having a top surface and rear surface; a seat back, the seat back having a forward surface, a rear surface, and a bottom surface; and a cap in the seat back for covering an ISOFIX bar, the cap comprising: a cap body; and a grip portion, the grip portion comprising: a base portion formed in the cap body; a scoop portion in the cap body formed as an opening exposed to the exterior of the cap body longitudinally forward of the base portion for receiving a hand; and an indented portion longitudinally forward of the scoop portion, the indented portion being gripped to remove the cap, the indented portion having a lateral width less than a lateral width of the cap body and greater than a lateral width of the scoop portion. 2. A rail and carrier seat system for a motor vehicle, comprising: a first rail fixedly attached to and positioned laterally along a floor of the motor vehicle; a second rail positioned laterally along the floor of the motor vehicle parallel to the first rail and longitudinally spaced from the first rail; a first carrier laterally slidable within the first and second rails; a second carrier laterally slidable within the first and second rails; a first seat attached to the first carrier, the first seat comprising: a first frame; a first seat cushion on top of the first frame, the first seat cushion having a first top surface and first rear surface; a first seat back, the first seat back having a first forward surface, a first rear surface, and a first bottom surface; and a cap in the first seat back for covering an ISOFIX bar, the cap comprising: a cap body; and a grip portion, the grip portion comprising: a base portion formed in the cap body; a scoop portion in the cap body formed as an opening exposed to the exterior of the cap body longitudinally forward of the base portion for receiving a hand; and an indented portion longitudinally forward of the scoop portion, the indented portion being gripped to remove the cap, the indented portion having a lateral width less than a lateral width of the cap body and greater than a lateral width of the scoop portion; and a second seat attached to the second carrier, the second seat comprising: a second frame; a second seat cushion on top of the second frame, the seat cushion having a second top surface and second rear surface; a second seat back, the second seat back having a second forward surface, a second rear surface, and a second bottom surface; and an inner cover on the second frame, the inner cover being generally L-shaped and located on a laterally inward side of the second frame, the inner cover comprising: a lower external surface free from projections; and a recessed external upper surface free from projections. 3. The rail and carrier seat system for a motor vehicle of claim 2 wherein the recessed external upper surface of the inner cover of the second seat is laterally adjacent the cap of the first seat when the first seat and second seat are slid together. 4. The rail and carrier seat system for a motor vehicle of claim 3 wherein: the cap and the recessed external upper surface are separated by a minimum distance of 16 mm between the cap body and the smooth and recessed external upper surface; and the cap and the recessed external upper surface are separated by a minimum distance of 30 mm between the indented portion and the smooth and recessed external upper surface.
